Up to Date Festival is an annual event held in Białystok, presenting various genres of electronic and progressive music. The festival features several stages, nearly 50 artists and 10,000 guests. A large proportion of these visitors are repeat attendees. This factor sets a clear direction for the visual identity: some elements must remain recognisable to evoke a feeling of ‘I'm in my place’, while others should introduce an element of novelty and surprise, ‘I wonder what this year will bring’.

Copies, reprints and photocopier effects are stylistic features carried over through many editions. Colour and inlay details, on the other hand, introduce something new to the identification process every year.

2021. There is no war yet, but there is still a pandemic. A year of transition, of suspension – blank spaces of uncertainty. Hence the white colour, unifying various forms in the photographs taken by Studio Wasabi. A shared experience that you bring with you and a shared experience that you leave with.
