Design identity system covers new forms of planning, payment and travel in the Metropolis, which includes cities such as Bytom, Chorzów, Gliwice and Katowice. Travelers receive a complete experience at various touchpoints – designed to be as natural to the region as possible. This notion had been applied to signs, shapes and colors. The application’s visuals, iconography, metropolitan logo and colors been designed to blend naturally into the landscape and cultural context. While respecting tradition, they do not shy away from the expected adaptation to contemporary requirements.

The verbal identification system of the metropolis, centred around the word ‘metro’, has also been harmonised. Again, no new vocabulary has been introduced; instead, the word, which is inherently part of the life of cities and the region, has been refined, with new meanings and contexts added.

The system takes into account the implementation of new forms of planning, payment and travel in the Metropolis, which includes cities such as Bytom, Chorzów, Gliwice and Katowice. Travellers receive a complete experience at various points of contact – designed to be as unobtrusive and natural to the region as possible. This applies to signs, shapes and colours. The application’s visuals, iconography, metropolitan logo and colours have been designed and conceived to blend naturally into the landscape and context. While respecting tradition, they do not shy away from the expected adaptation to contemporary requirements.
